A two day Field Workshop with Dr Eduardo Ladeira provided a comprehensive field perspective of the setting, stratigraphy, structure and iron formations of the Quadrilatero Ferrifero.
On the first day, a range of sites were visited, including Upper left: Studying & noting textures and field relationships in an exposure of the Cauê Itabirite; Lower left: Standing on Canga, developed as a generally flat lying layer above or in proximity to the Cauê Itabirite; Right: Eduardo Ladeira in discussion with Leonardo Bonfioli.
